Frequently asked
The questions leaders ask before they schedule.
Straight answers on what ISEE does, how it differs from surveys and consultancies, what it costs, and what lands on your desk.
Yes. Board conflict and superintendent-board misalignment are two of the six conditions STELAR measures directly. A Compass Briefing can be booked by a board chair as easily as by a superintendent. The diagnosis is written for whoever is trying to see the organization clearly, board or cabinet.
It is the measurement of the cross-cutting conditions that determine whether your strategy actually produces outcomes. It sits above HR analytics and operational dashboards, measuring the connective tissue between departments that neither one captures.
A survey scores sentiment, department by department. ISEE diagnoses the single root condition driving symptoms across departments, and delivers a decision document naming what to change, not a dashboard of scores.
A survey tells you how people feel. ISEE’s organizational diagnostic tells you which conditions are producing your outcomes and why initiatives keep failing regardless of how people feel about them. The difference is between a thermometer and a diagnosis.
Large firms sell general strategy by the hour and leave when the engagement ends. ISEE delivers a specialized diagnostic built for your institution type, at a fixed fee, in a fraction of the time, and can stay to monitor the conditions continuously.
A Compass Briefing produces a written preliminary read within 72 hours. A full Clarity Diagnostic is scoped to your institution and delivered on a defined timeline agreed in advance.
ISEE prices by the decision, not the hour. The Compass Briefing is complimentary; the Clarity Diagnostic is a fixed fee scoped to institution size; the Steward Retainer is annual. You approve a written fee before any work begins. See the pricing page for the full structure.
Engagements are led by Dr. Gabriel Woods, who applies industrial-engineering methodology to educational institutions. Every diagnosis is delivered in writing so its reasoning is fully transparent and reviewable.
Yes. Interviews and documents are handled confidentially, and the written diagnosis is delivered only to the leaders you designate. Data handling and privacy expectations are agreed in the engagement scope.
District data collected through ISEE engagements is used solely for your organization's diagnostic findings. It is not aggregated across clients, shared with third parties, or retained beyond the engagement period. District data is deleted within 90 days of engagement completion. A deletion confirmation is provided to the district automatically.
A written organizational diagnosis: one named root condition, six scored STELAR dimensions with evidence, the three highest-leverage moves in priority order, a one-page board summary, and an executive readout.
